Calvert Library Southern Branch invites you to join the Green Crafters as they celebrate National Recycling Month on Wednesday, November 16 at 7 pm.  Learn about recycling in Calvert County from Recycling Specialist Keith Roumfort.  What can currently be recycled in Calvert? Where do our recycled papers, plastics, computers, and tires go? Local mixed media artist Tammy Vitale, and green crafters Jo Ruggieri and Maria Mayhew will talk about how they design and create jewelry, furniture, tote bags, floor cloths, mosaics, and more from found objects, keeping them out of the waste stream.
