New nights have been added to the “Manga Otaku Artist Nights” workshops at Calvert Library Twin Beaches Branch. Due to its huge popularity, “Manga Otaku Artist Nights” has expanded to twice a month, meeting on the first Tuesday and on the third Monday of each month at Calvert Library Twin Beaches Branch. Events go from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Come on in to draw, talk and share your love for your favorite titles and character—and discover new ones! Artist and illustrator (and Calvert librarian) McNevin Hayes will guide you through the basics of story layout, thumbnails, and character construction. Be sure to register for each night.
