International Game Day tournaments at Calvert Library (press release)

Come celebrate International Games Day @ Your Library on Saturday, November 21, with Calvert Library Video Game Tournaments!

 

Sign up for one of our two gaming tournaments to challenge your friends and see who can make it all the way through the bracket. The competition starts at 10:00am with a Mario Kart Wii Tournament for players ages 8-12. Players will race through the flower, fire and star cups to see who the number one driver in the county is. 

 

Things heat up at 1:30pm with a Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament for players ages 13 and up.  Players will challenge each other in timed stock matches to see who comes out on top!

 

All tournaments will take place at Calvert Library Prince Frederick in partnership with Play N Trade Lusby. Wiimotes will be furnished by the library or players may bring their own controllers.
