 On Wednesday, February 5, 2014, join Calvert Library Prince Frederick for an exclusive screening of a documentary by the actress and filmmaker Sarah Polley about the stories we tell.  Is the truth “the truth,” or does it depend on who’s relating the events?  The documentary traces a family’s mythology as recollections shift into nostalgia tinged reflections of the past.  Ann Hornaday of The Washington Post calls the documentary “a masterful film.”  Peter Travers of Rolling Stone magazine says it is: “unique and unforgettable.”  Lights go down at 6:00 pm and the film will be followed by a short discussion ending by 8:30pm.  Light refreshments and coffee will be served.  For more information call Robyn Truslow at (410) 535-0291 or (301) 855-1862.
