On Wednesday, October 2, join Calvert Library Prince Frederick for a movie that depicts the struggle of a little guy named Rudy, trying to reach the impossible dream of playing football at Notre Dame. His blue collar family only laughs at his ambitions as they know he will follow in his fathers’ footsteps to work in the local steel mill.  Some dreams never die and through his perseverance, he becomes a real life role-model in reaching his desired goal.  His victory against the odds makes him a model not only for his five younger brothers, but also for the viewer.  Based on a true story, this is the must-see movie of the fall! Lights go down at 6:00 pm and the film will be followed by a short discussion ending by 8:30 pm.  Popcorn will be served.  For more information, call Robyn Truslow at (410) 535-0291 or (301) 855-1862.
