In this time just before Halloween, the veil between this world and the next…thins. Calvert Library Prince Frederick is hosting a “Thinning the Veil” Open Mic on Thursday, October 28 at 7:00pm. Do you have a good ghost story? Maybe some Edgar Allen Poe-etry? Or maybe some creepy music? All things terrifying are welcome. Costumes are encouraged. Sign up for a 5-minute spot at the mic at the Calvert Library website, calvert.lib.md.us. No one will be turned away but the faint of heart should beware.
