Allyson Evans, Public Services Librarian for Calvert Library presented an iPod Touch to Jaclyn Selden, the winner of the Teen Summer Reading contest. The library hosts many reading events over the summer to help prevent the “summer slump” that leaves many students unready for the new school year. The prize was sponsored by the Friends of Calvert Library through funds they raise through events such as the upcoming Sidewalk Book Sale on Saturday, September 18 at the Calvert Library Prince Frederick.
