Have you made a New Year’s resolution to update your resume?  Don’t miss Calvert Library Prince Frederick’s Resumes for the Digital Age workshop on Thursday, January 16 at 2pm.  Author and nationally certified career counselor, Anne Simcox Headley, will offer a workshop based on her experience and her ebook Reflections on Resumes: Taking a Second Look.  Resumes now not only need to be current and brief, they also need to be imaginative, and easy to transmit electronically and online.  Whether you are starting from scratch or updating a dusty resume, this workshop will provide valuable hints.  You will learn about formatting for the internet, incorporating social media, using keywords, linking to work samples, understanding ethics and more.  Anne Headley has over twenty years of career counseling experience in the Washington, DC area and her concise ebook is well-reviewed.
