Calvert Library presents a night of local history, “Memories of Chesapeake Beach Amusement Park circa 1946-1972.” Three sisters who grew up in the park, will be sharing their memories of the swimming pool, amusement rides, the beach and what it was like "back in the day." Vintage photos from the Bayside History Museum and the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum will also be shared. Join us at Calvert Library Prince Frederick on Tuesday, March 11, at 7:00 pm if you worked at the park, visited the park, or just wondered what took place in that enchanted place! Calvert Library programs are accessible to individuals with disabilities. For questions or more information please contact Robyn Truslow at 410-535-0291 or 301-855-1862. For special needs please contact us at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
