On Wednesday, November 7, 2012, Calvert Library Prince Frederick will present a historical drama based on John Boyne’s novel The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. The powerful film portrays the Holocaust through the eyes of Bruno, the eight-year-old son of a Nazi commander at Auschwitz, who strikes up a friendship with a Jewish boy through the fence of the camp where everyone wears striped pajamas.
