Calvert Conversations at Calvert Library Twin Beaches Branch (press release)

Calvert Conversations, an informal discussion of local history, will begin again at Calvert Library Twin Beaches Branch on September 13, 10-11 am.  The topic of discussion at the first gathering will be “Oystering on the Bay”.  The setting is perfect, overlooking an historic harbor on the bay.  Branch Manager Joan Kilmon will lead the “conversations” that take place the second Thursday of each month:  September 13, October 11, November 8, December 13, January 10, February 14, March 14, April 11, May 9.

 

New-timers and old-timers gather together to ask questions, get answers, all the while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea and meeting other folks who want to know more about where they live.  Join in the discussion!  For more information, call the Calvert Library Twin Beaches Branch at 410-257-2411 or check the website at calvert.lib.md.us.
