Looks like there is Treble at the Library! And it’s treble you don’t want to miss! Four of our nation’s premier military bands will be performing at Calvert Library Prince Frederick on Wednesday nights. The first concert will feature Navy Band Country Current on February 15. If your significant other thinks you didn’t do enough for Valentine’s Day, bring them to this show and you will be back in good graces. The show starts at 7pm. These are free events and are often standing room only, so get there early to claim seats! On February 22, members of the US Naval Academy’s Superintendent’s Jazz Combo will entertain and energize you no matter how cold it is outside. March 15, the library will host Max Impact, the US Air Force Premier Rock Band who will play popular, rock, Americana, country and more. The series will wrap up on March 22, with the talented US Army Band Downrange bringing an up-to-date repertoire of rock, pop, country, R&B and inspirational patriotic arrangements. If you have quiet work that you were planning to do at the library on those Wednesday nights, you might want to make alternate arrangements or come for the concert and say the dog ate your homework! Be sure to tell your friends you’re going or when you post later on Facebook, you’ll be in trouble for not giving them the heads up! For more information, call Robyn Truslow at 410-535-0291.
