(press release) Calvert Library Offers a Summer of Books & Toys

The Calvert Library invites parents and caregivers to bring your kids and join us for daytime conversation about our current book—a book discussion for adults and playtime for the young ones.    The Books and Toys group gathers at the Library’s Southern Branch one Monday a month to discuss each selection. We will meet to discuss The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, on Monday, May 23^rd, at 10:00 am.  For June we will be reading Chad Harbach’s The Art of Fielding and meet on June 25^th, at 10:00 am.  Our July selection is Loving Frank by Nancy Horan on Monday July 23^rd. We will meet on Monday, August 27^th to discuss The Scent of Rain & Lightning by Nancy Pickard.
