Join us as we mark the War of 1812 bicentennial with a presentation on The War of 1812 in the Chesapeake by local author and historian Ralph Eshelman. This is the third in Calvert Library's four-part series of Local History programs. Eshelman, who has written several books about the War of 1812, will share his vast knowledge of Calvert County's role in the conflict, with its many battlefields and other significant sites. The program will be held Tuesday, March 13, 7:00-8:30 pm, at Calvert Library Prince Frederick. Eshelman will have copies of his books available for purchase after the program. For more information, visit calvert.lib.md.us or contact Robyn Truslow at 410-535-0291 or 301-855-1862.
