Do the falling leaves of autumn and your collection of rakes make you think of your family tree? No? Oh, well, it is still a good time of year to start your family research. The Calvert Library Prince Frederick wants to help. On Saturday, October 9 at 10am, Jeff Korman from the Maryland Department of Maryland’s State Library Resource Center will present a genealogy workshop. This class will be for those new to family history research and offers an introduction to the initial sources one would want to view in identifying information about your ancestors. Korman will present materials that are publicly available for use at the State Library Resource Center as well as discuss how to use the collection, services and librarian assistance.
